The Role
As an AArete Director, you fill a pivotal role demonstrating in-depth practical and technical knowledge and project management and execution experience. The joint focus of this role is to successfully lead and co-lead business development conversations with existing and potential new clients and ensure teams execute project goals and deliver tangible financial results to clients. You will bring deep knowledge of managed care pharmacy, experience building strong client relationships, and insights gained through cross-industry and previous consulting experience. As a Director at AArete you will lead high performing teams, while mentoring and developing team members in both technical expertise and soft skills.
Work You'll Do
Leverage business contacts and relationships to secure, design and manage extensions and prospects for new businessOversee the successful execution of multiple client projectsLead internal teams and client facing meetingsWork with medical and pharmacy claims and other healthcare data to analyze and identify cost management opportunities Secure and manage client projects while identifying and mitigating riskMaintain strong profitability for each projectCoach multiple teams, mentor and develop staff by imparting functional knowledge, consulting skills and experienceFormulate and communicate our corporate vision, create a shared sense of purpose and inspire othersContribute effectively to the development of new service offerings, marketing initiatives and proposalsPlan, manage and lead business development callsDevelop strong relationships with the clients that evolve beyond the contracted assignment and leverage this relationship to initiate future engagement opportunitiesActively participate in the recruiting process through interviewing, referrals, and other opportunities to promote AArete Requirements
6-8 yearsMedicaid/Medicare/Exchange (or "government funded") managed care pharmacy experience with health systems, health plans, PBM contracting, rebates, formularies and pharmacy program managementExperience with various managed care pricing methodologiesExperience with advanced analytics using Excel, SQL, SnowflakeExperience with non-labor cost reduction/strategic sourcingHave 8-10+ years of experience managing teams, projects and business development activitiesTravel as required, up to 25% Preferred Requirements
Consulting experience Have earned a BA or BS degree, preferably with a Business or Finance related major Benefits
