Job Summary: Responsible for the overall leadership, management, and execution of all Clinical Applications delivery activities for North America Commercial Operations. Creates and executes customer-focused initiatives to ensure total customer satisfaction and retention. Responsible for instrument installation, clinical acceptance/go-live, and overall post-implementation field technical/clinical support. Drives initiatives to achieve revenue targets for Instrument Revenue, Parts and Consumables (P&E), and Operating Expenses.
Key Accountabilities Achieves the clinical support organization's established financial, operational, and customer satisfaction objectives. Drives cross-functional commercial operations collaboration to enhance customer satisfaction/retention and sales growth while executing strategic plans. Develops strategic goals and objectives; leads and drives initiatives aligned with customer requirements and organizational/financial growth. Invests in staff development to retain and promote Werfen's highest talent. Establish and maintain robust training programs for staff to maintain a high level of product and clinical knowledge. Develops and maintains applicable business and regulatory policies/procedures/work instructions; and ensures organizational compliance with all Quality, Regulatory, Service & Support policies, procedures, work instructions, and records, ensuring all records are compliant, complete, and accurate. Builds & maintains an engaged customer-first, results-driven culture that focuses on accountability, professionalism, and teamwork. Evaluate workload requirements and deploy appropriate resources to meet targets. Demonstrates a high level of leadership and communication ability. Performs other duties as position requires. Networking/Key Relationships The Director of Clinical Applications will regularly interface with peer groups within Commercial Operations and other functions across the organization as needed.
Commercial Operations Client Services Finance Quality and Regulatory Operations R&D Strategic Business Unit: Marketing & WW Service Information Technology Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position: Bachelor's Degree in Science or related field (medical technology, respiratory therapy, biomedical engineering, hemostasis, critical care, nursing or related scientific discipline preferred) Minimum of 10 years of clinical or healthcare related experience A minimum of 10 years of Leadership experience Five or more years as a senior manager with both direct and indirect reports, is preferred. Two or more years of experience guiding teams in quality improvement activities preferred. Management has the discretion of substituting relevant work experience for a degree and/or making exceptions to the years of experience requirement.
Skills & Capabilities: Demonstrated ability to drive change, process improvement and work collaboratively across other functional areas. Lead the Applications team to be accountable to both internal & external customers. Strategic business planning, with the ability to execute tactically. Highly accountable, strong leadership with superior knowledge of management methodologies. Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities while driving results in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment. Ability to cross-functionally work on projects that significantly impact the overall success of an organization. Extremely strong communication skills that can influence varying roles across the company. High level of decision making. High level of Business acumen.
