The Opportunity:
As a Director of Customer Success, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the success and satisfaction of our valued Mid-Market Accounts. Leading a dynamic team, you'll spearhead initiatives to drive growth, enhance product adoption, and strengthen customer relationships. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing retention strategies, fostering a culture of excellence, and serving as a bridge between our customers and leadership team to ensure alignment of goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of dedicated Mid-Market Customer Success Managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive retention and expansion strategies tailored to the needs of our Mid-Market customer segment, in collaboration with the VP of Customer Success.
Performance Management: Set clear objectives, KPIs, and targets for the team, ensuring alignment with overall company goals. Provide regular feedback and support to drive continuous improvement and achievement of targets.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate seamless communication and alignment between customer success, sales, and executive leadership teams to optimize processes and maximize customer satisfaction.
Professional Development: Inspire and empower team members to reach their full potential through ongoing training, coaching, and career development opportunities.
Market Insights: Stay abreast of industry trends, customer needs, and competitive insights, providing valuable feedback to inform product roadmap and business strategy.
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in a fast-paced Customer Success and Sales environment, with a proven track record of successfully leading teams and exceeding targets.
Leadership: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor team members to achieve excellence.
Communication: Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a keen ability to articulate complex ideas and build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
Analytical: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies and processes.
Education: Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, business, or a related field.
Preferred Experience: Experience with Salesforce, Salesloft, and other relevant technologies is preferred. Prior experience in B2B SaaS, martech, or salestech industries is a plus.
