Responsibilities
• Identifying, qualifying, and directing initial capture activities• Leading NASA/NOAA strategic engagements and shaping growth strategies• Providing leadership and execution of effective capture plans• Managing and leading capture teams• Gathering, assessing, and validating customer requirements• Assessing competition and evaluating strengths and threats• Translating requirements into robust win strategy• Collaborating with internal teams and external partners• Identifying gaps and developing strategies to overcome weaknesses• Conducting and participating in gate, pricing, teaming, and capture reviews• Executing teaming strategies and negotiating agreements• Managing assigned captures and supporting proposal development• Advancing and maturing opportunities toward high win probability• Managing to budget and schedules
Requirements
• Minimum of 8 years of capture management or related business experience• Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant field of study• Extensive knowledge, experience, and success in capture process• Understanding of contract types and payment types• Ability to work and execute quick reaction proposals• Ability to influence and interact at the highest levels of the corporate structure• Proficient in capture management based on industry best practices• Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and business acumen• Confidence and experience dealing with senior executives• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment• Ability to travel as necessary
