About the Role: Job Title: Developer
Project Summary: Ascendion is looking for a Developer in Chicago, IL. This is a hybrid role and we need a candidate with strong SQL programming as well as some healthcare claims experience. Responsibilities: Perform unit acceptance testing of solutions developed by IT team. Perform post-implementation verification after project deployment. Write SQL queries to illustrate the issue or test the solutions. Assist in the documentation of business processes. Develop and maintain optimized data warehouses. Design and develop data warehouses on Teradata using utilities such as Fast Load, Multi Load, Fast export, BTEQ. Use SQL programming (DDLs, DMLs, aggregate/window aggregate/ordered analytical functions) in the creation and maintenance of the data mart. Qualifications: Advanced SQL programming skills. Experience with Teradata or other database systems. Experience in database design/development, database administration, and business intelligence Experience in data analysis and analytical reporting. Proficiency with advanced Excel features and techniques; VBA skills desired Familiarity with agile/scrum or other project methodologies Location: Chicago, IL (3 days onsite a week)
Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $80,000 – $85,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
