Astrion has an exciting opportunity for an SE-4 Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) Test Engineer for the TMAS 2 96 CTG Task Order , supporting the 45 TS / TGAB. Our cybersecurity test team is searching for new members to support the 48 th Cyber Space Test Squadron (48 CTS) at Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado. The 48 th CTS provides a range of cybersecurity support to both the United States Air and Space Forces. Applicants should be able to help conduct penetration testing and conduct security analysis on systems and/or software to understand and identify vulnerabilities. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS Master's Degree and a minimum of 10 years of applicable experience. Additional experience may be substituted for education. Must possess an active TOP SECRET security clearance with the ability to obtain Special Compartmented Information access. U.S. Citizenship. Must have the ability to interface with weapons system Program Office personnel and prime contractors regarding test objectives, schedules, budgets, and methods of test. Must have a demonstrated ability to perform self-directed liaison and coordination activities, work effectively on a team and to lead and direct the work of others. Must possess effective oral and written communications skills. Good interpersonal communications skills and be comfortable leading and working in a team environment. Proficiency in the use and integration of MS Office applications required. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS Relevant technical experience in the areas related to ISR collection systems. Specifically, Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) experience as an operator or tester. Experience with AF DCGS capabilities and/or site operations including processing and exploitation of imagery and signals data from sensors installed on U-2 and Global Hawk platforms is highly desired. Familiarity with the Strategic Mission Planning and Assessment System (SMPES) Test Program. General experience on DOD or Air Force Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance imagery and signals intelligence flight and/ or ground processing. Recent knowledge in test and development acquisition support for DCGS, and broad knowledge of existing and prototype technologies in the areas of intelligence collection. Experience with service oriented architectures, web information services, and net-centric information systems. Understanding of development test and evaluation processes, specifically - acquisition program development and detailed knowledge of Air Force C2 test methodologies including AFI 99-103. Knowledgeable with the system development lifecycle. Knowledge of IT systems analysis and application software concepts, functions, techniques, and capabilities sufficient enough to evaluate emerging technologies in a development environment. RESPONSIBILITIES Provides test engineering expertise for the AF DCGS Sensors Agile Release Train (ART), DCGS Radio Frequency Intelligence (RFINT), DCGS Deployable Surface Asset (DDSA), the DCGS Enterprise Collection planner (ECP) ART and the Strategic Mission Planning and Assessment System (SMPES) Test Program Provides individual technical support of critical importance to the customer. Conducts data analysis and applies knowledge of engineering technology under the direction of engineering staff. Types of tasks include: test and evaluation, test support, logistics, sustainment, operations analyses, technical studies, and various analyses and support activities including cost/price, and program/system security. Assists in the development of system requirements, performance measures, test phase entry/exit criteria, and analysis of design constraints functional capabilities, and metrics. Supports AGILE software development and testing in government facilities Supports DT&E, Operational Test (OT), Integrated Acceptance Testing (IAT), Risk Reduction Testing (RRT) and certification for test readiness; identifies deficiencies, verifies compliance with specifications and standards, and assesses stability of various system configurations. Supports senior engineers when interacting with System Program Offices, other services, and developmental contractors. Prepares, executes, reviews, and analyzes test plans, procedures, metrics, and reports throughout the software development life cycle. Using AGILE Test Methodologies, develops and writes methods of tests, Concepts of Operations (CONOPS), test cases, test objectives and procedures, test directives, technical or letter reports, analysis and review of requirements, and other test process documents as required in the conduct of testing. Coordinates schedules, pre-and post-test activities, logistics of test planning, and test results. Travels up to 20% of time to contractors' facilities, test sites, and other locations (OCONUS and CONUS).
