Job ID: J-******** Introduction: The Customer Logistics Planner (CLP) is a key contributor to the Customer Supply Chain Management team. In this role the Customer Logistics Planner drives spares planning and replenishment to support stocking requirements worldwide. The CLP also coordinates with various functions within the ASML to ensure customer service requests are handled appropriately and in a timely manner. Within ASML, CLP's form collaborative partnerships with the global field support teams to ensure customer service level performance standards are met. The CLP role is an integral part of logistics and maintains safety stock levels and resolves logistical support issues.
Roles and Responsibilities: Manages supply of spare and upgrade parts to customer field locations Acts as a liaison between CLPs at customer field sites and ASML San Diego management Monitors customer stocking levels to determine replenishment of safety stock and reorder point targets at global distribution centers and customer warehouses Places Intercompany Purchase Orders and executes transactions in SAP that support worldwide stocking replenishment Supports service planning of New Product introduction (NPI) parts to avoid excess logistics and obsolesce costs Executes allocation decisions regarding critical service parts based on regional stocking needs and future demands Communicates with international colleagues on appropriate supply plans Manages defective material return to support re-useability and sustainability initiatives Analyzes spare parts usage patterns and forecasts potential material shortages Collaborates cross-functionally with Production and Material Planning groups to resolve material availability escalations Creates scenario planning forecasts detailing customer impact and recovery Presents forecasts and customer stocking level recommendations at an senior management level Troubleshoots logistics issues amongst cross functional departments associated with demand, quality or delivery Investigates and resolves transactional errors in SAP and associated logistics planning tools Collaborates with multiple departments to minimize financial and production impacts Monitors specific performance KPIs Maintains standardized KPI Dashboard reports on inventory stocking levels, on time delivery, past due orders Responsible for creating policy/process improvements and updates Develops appropriate controls and ad-hoc performance reporting to assist in the accomplishment of the team's overall objectives Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Production Management or related business or technical degree, followed by a minimum of 1 years of professional experience, in the position offered or related capacities. APICS certification a plus Expert knowledge and understanding of MRP, manufacturing and supply versus demand theories . Understanding of the concepts and functionality of integrated manufacturing systems (SAP preferred) Ability to translate and statistically analyze data, and effectively report problems through written and/or graphical formats Advanced knowledge of MS suite of products such as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Other Information Must be willing to work in a clean room environment, wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses and gloves for entire duration of shift. While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. The employee may be required to travel based on business needs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Can work under deadlines. The environment generally is moderate in temperature and noise level. Must be able to read and interpret data, information, and documents. Can observe and respond to people and situations and interact with others encountered in the course of work. Can learn and apply new information or skills. Extended periods of time in a clean room environment should be expected. Requires gowning in Class 10K gowning protocol. May need to work in labs with equipment that emit high-pitched noise. The current base annual hourly range for this role is currently $24.34-$40.56. Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.
