This position works to promote and protect the health and safety of the residents of Cobb and Douglas Counties.
Essential functions (include, but are not limited to):
Provides a variety of clerical support functions/processes and clinical duties to support front desk/registration. Administration or technical operation requiring significant knowledge of program operations, procedures and policies. This position requires high customer service skills for greeting and serving a diverse public community as well as internal customers. Entering confidential patient information into VHN Mitchell & McCormick patient system. Must have the ability to comprehend information from HP Medicaid web portal system, private insurance portal, Immunization schedules and GRITS system, and the various programs in Clinical Services Minimum Qualifications CSR 1: High school diploma or GED AND Six months of experience handling customer's questions, complaints and/or providing information.
Preferred Qualifications : Significant experience and/or education relating to the specialty area of the position including insurance verification, handling customers' complaints, customer service and collection of payments. Knowledge and usage of hardware and/or software related to the position. The ability to translate English to Spanish and Spanish to English orally and in writing is preferred, but not required.
Salary Information : $33,631 Annually / Pay Grade F CSR 1
