Award-winning Courtyard Marriott property located in the heart of downtown Boone, offering flexible scheduling and opportunities for advancement. The Bistro offers guests and locals a casual dining experience, with healthy and fresh, made-to-order breakfast and dinner options, including a full service bar and 24-hour Starbucks. The Bistro also offers full-service catering options for breakfast, lunch, dinner, as well as an open bar, for groups using the meeting space facilities.
Responsibilities
Lead daily preparation of food items and station management
Handle set-up, stocking and preparing food in accordance to our Executive Chef's recipes and standards
Ensure cleanliness and proper safety procedures are followed
Organize kitchen, walk-in coolers and storage areas
Requirements
Basic knife skills
Food safety knowledge
Love of food and cooking
1+ years of experience in a professional kitchen preferred
Bonus Points: Previous experience is not required, however, must have a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
