Job Description and Duties Anticipated Interview Dates: In person interviews are anticipated to start the week of June 10, 2024. Telework Information: This position is eligible for hybrid work schedule, with up to two days of remote work and three days or more onsite, per week.

CalPERS is seeking a Costing & Elections Team Analyst in the Member Account Management Division (MAMD) on the Costing and Elections Team. Essential functions of the job include: Perform eligibility review and cost calculations of service credit purchase requests. Review, research, evaluate, correct, process, and maintain Service Credit Purchase (SCP) elections. Investigates and resolves difficult and sensitive cases and issues. Responds to inquiries (i.e.: telephone, Workflow inquiries, etc.) of a difficult and sensitive nature and escalates to designated team members when appropriate.

Working Conditions This position is designated as office-centered and works primarily onsite at the Sacramento, CA -Headquarters at least three weekdays. On a rotational basis all employees will be required to provide telephone coverage and assistance during normal office hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. May require overnight/in-state travel.
