Essential Job Functions: 1. Supports processes and procedures related to Residential Management System in order to support students living on campus.
2. Handles student housing contracts and release processes.
3. Works with the Office of Enrollment and Student Services to ensure that students released from housing have an accurate student account for housing and meal plan charges.
4. Oversees room change requests for students living on campus and provides occupancy reports for residence halls.
5. Cross-trains housing staff members on RMS, Banner, One Drive, Share Drive, and other work-related needs.
6. Creates and continuously updates the housing vacant space, in excel.
7. Oversees the housing consolidation process to decrease university's debt created by vacant spaces.
8. Provides weekly reports to management for vacant space, housing release, occupancy, and contract summaries.
9. Provides weekly building rosters to support staff during on-call rotations.
10. Manages room selections: rooms swap and wait lists, prior to students moving into their spaces.
12. Answers questions and provides explanations regarding student's accounts/billing, and Residential Life and Housing scholarship recipients.
13. Hosts room selection information sessions for current residents and perspective residents prior to the start of the room selection process.
14. Completes special projects as assigned.
15. Performs other duties as assigned or required. Marginal Job Functions: Performs front desk duties and checks housing emails.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: KNOWLEDGE:
1. Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word and Excel, as well as knowledge and understanding of organization structure, workflow, and operating procedures.
2. Clerical - Thorough knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.

2. Writing - Proficient skills in communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
1. Speech Recognition - Must be able to identify and understand the speech of another person.
2. Speech Clarity - Must be able to speak clearly, so others can understand you.
3. Near Vision - Must be able to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
4. Travel - Must be able to travel on a daily and/or overnight basis.
5. May be required to work nights or weekends.
6. May be exposed to short, intermittent, and/or prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing in performance of job duties.
7. May be required to accomplish job duties using various types of equipment/supplies, to include but not limited to pens, pencils, and computer keyboards. Job Requirements: Required Certifications/Licensures: Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
Major (if required): Required Experience: One (1) to two (2) years working with complex occupancy systems, data analysis, and forecasting.
Preferred Qualifications: 1. Master's degree in College Student Personnel, Higher Education Administration, or related field.
2. Previous experience with housing contracts and assignments, operations, or occupancy management.
3. One (1) to three (3) years' experience within residential housing/managing apartment leasing.
4. Experience with Banner and Residential Management System (RMS).
