• Prepare menu items, special menus, and catering menus• Develop new menu items annually and seasonally• Order and maintain proper stock levels• Handle and store food products• Clean and secure work area• Maintain records and direct production area• Provide quality customer service
Requirements
• 2 years cooking experience in large scale food service or culinary operation• 6 months experience directing the work of others• OR completion of course in large-scale cooking• OR 1 year as a Cook 1 in State service• Possession of or ability to obtain a Washington Food Handler's Permit• Flexible schedule including weekends and nights
