Position Overview: The Controls Engineer will be responsible for designing, programming, testing, and troubleshooting control systems for factory automation and process control applications. This includes designing and developing electrical control systems using PLCs, hardware, semiconductors, and other components, as well as configuring the systems to meet customer requirements. The Controls Engineer is also responsible for modernization and upgrades of existing control systems.
Key Responsibilities: Design control systems using PLCs, hardware, semiconductors, and other components. Program control systems in accordance with NEC and other applicable codes. Test and troubleshoot control systems for defects. Configure control systems to meet customer requirements. Maintain and update existing control systems. Research and recommend new technologies. Provide technical support and guidance to customers. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Engineering. Experience with Controls, PLC, NEC, Hardware, Semiconductors, and Manufacturing. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of applicable safety regulations.
