Controller/Sn Accountant

We are in need of a Controller/SN Accountant to join our thriving team!
Position Overview: The Controller will be responsible for the accounting, financial reporting, and financial planning of the company. They will manage and oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. The Controller will also serve as a senior accountant and help with bookeeping for our irrigation projects.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting and financial regulations Prepare financial statements, reports, and other documents related to the company's accounting activities Oversee and manage all accounts payable and accounts receivable functions Manage payroll, including employee deductions, benefit deductions, and tax payments Oversee the irrigation systems and ensure proper functioning Assist in construction projects as needed Provide financial advice to management and ensure compliance with all GAAP requirements Develop and maintain effective internal control policies and procedures Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field 3+ years of experience in accounting and financial management Strong knowledge of GAAP regulations and compliance Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Proficiency in financial software, such as QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel Experience with irrigation systems and construction projects a plus Benefits 401k with Match Medical Dental Life Insurance Plan Generous PTO Plan Flexible Work Schedule Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
