Details of the offer

The Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting activities within the company. This role includes managing the day-to-day operations of the finance department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and supporting strategic planning and decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, excellent leadership skills, and experience in the digital advertising industry. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, and Revenue Recognition. Manage the preparation and publication of timely monthly financial statements. Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances. Prepare and publish monthly financial statements and other required reports. Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting. Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. Lead and develop a team of finance and accounting professionals. Provide training, mentorship, and performance evaluations to the finance team. Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Assist in the development and implementation of strategic business plans. Provide financial insights and recommendations to the executive team to support strategic decision-making. Participate in the development of the company's plans and programs as a strategic partner. Streamline and automate financial processes to improve efficiency. Evaluate accounting and internal control systems and implement enhancements as needed. Manage the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred. Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in a managerial role. Experience in the digital advertising or technology industry is highly desirable. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements. Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
