Job Description:
Caterpillar, a leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, is looking for a Contact Center Officer to join our team in San Diego, California. This is a full-time remote work position at the Associate Level, with a minimum requirement of 4 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:- Handle inbound and outbound calls from customers, providing excellent customer service and assistance with inquiries or issues related to Caterpillar products and services- Process orders, returns, and exchanges efficiently and accurately- Provide product information, pricing, and availability to customers- Resolve customer complaints and work to ensure customer satisfaction- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer needs and escalate complex issues as necessary- Meet or exceed performance metrics related to call quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction
Requirements:- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Energetic and reliable personality traits- Negotiation skills and a strong ability to work in a team environment- Experience using customer relationship management (CRM) software and call center technology- High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree preferred
