U-Haul International Inc. is seeking an experienced commercial Construction Project Manager for new multi-story self-storage projects and building reuse. The ideal candidate must be capable of preparing construction budgets, reviewing and assist cost estimating and project scheduling. Assist project owner's representative to resolve RFI's with contractors, architects, and engineers. Must be familiar with cast and place concrete, tilt panel construction, metal framing, standing seam metal roof and pre-engineered metal buildings.
Responsibilities and Requirements
o Coordination with owner's representatives, contractors, architects/engineers and city officialso Project tracking, scheduling, on-site inspections, and project close-outo Experience with Microsoft programs, Teams, Project, Excel, etco Some travel requiredo Report job status, daily progress, estimates, and deliverableso Assist owners representative construction contract drafts, bid on projects, analyze, and mitigate riskso Communicate with the responsible parties to ensure quality construction meets or exceeds company standards and proper industry techniques and processes are utilizedo Review projects on a daily basis to ensure quality construction standardso Must be capable of coordinating multiple projects.o The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience in construction managemento College degree preferredo Excellent resource, planning, and time management skillso Project and time management skillsU-Haul Offers: + Full Medical coverage
