Construction Project Manager

Job Description:
Support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization Integration Office (EHRM-IO) as a Veteran Integrated Services Network (VISN) Project Manager. 
Support the Program Office oversee multiple capital infrastructure design and construction projects across the VISN. Support mission of Program Office for planning (requirements, funding, design), acquisition, and implementation (design and construction execution) of projects. Monitor schedule and costs. Identify and mitigate risks associated with facility readiness relating to infrastructure space, power, cabling, HVAC, fire code in preparation for IT network installations. Able to act as liaison to positively influence stakeholder performance and articulate agency and program guidance/requirement and monitor best practices as it relates to cost and schedule. Ability to lead and/or support senior leadership presentations, data calls and interagency collaboration. Must manage data sets and data entry within SharePoint and MS Project. Utilize Power BI to effectively summarize and communicate status and trends with Program Office and external stakeholders. 
Minimum qualifications:
•    10+ years of professional work experience 
•    Experience managing Information Technology related projects
•    Well versed in life cycle and project management methodologies
•    Experience in tracking costs, schedule and performance progress
•    Able to identify and mitigate risks.
•    Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific /technical discipline or an additional 8 years of relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements
Preferred qualifications: Experience in the VA  Experience with government acquisition and familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs)  Experience executing project management and oversight of physical infrastructure build-outs associated with capital infrastructure and IT projects  Experience supporting projects pertaining to electrical, mechanical, and IT infrastructure (power, HVAC, cabling, fiber)   Experience implementing Electronic Health Records IT Infrastructure  Experience managing and maintaining project milestones and statuses for large portfolio of dispersed project  Project Management Certifications (e.g., PMP, CCM, CHFM, Lean Six Sigma, Agile)  Benefits:   Retirement Plan??
