Responsibilities
• Accurately report materials, equipment, and hours of work.• Manage and ensure the safety of crew members and the public.• Operate a variety of power equipment and machinery as needed.• Follow directions from the Superintendent or other management.• Perform other assigned duties.• Maintain regulatory and safety measures.
Requirements
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.• CDL desired but not necessary for hire.• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.• Punctual, dependable, and willing to work varied hours.• Able to work in variable weather conditions and dirty/dusty environments.• Member of a local trade union or willingness to become a union member.• 3-5 years of experience in the construction trade and 2-4 years in a sub-foreman or leadership role.• Ability to manage own time and time of other construction industry personnel efficiently.• Ability to motivate, develop, direct, and lead a team.• Prior leadership experience.
