The Composite Technician will be responsible for hand lay-up of composite materials, vacuum bagging process and procedures, and perform hand-finishing operations.What you get to do!Hand lay-up of composite materials (Wet & Prepreg)Vacuum bagging process and proceduresApplication and understanding of resin systems (Epoxy, Polyester, Vinyl ester, Silicones, etc.)Perform hand-finishing operations on patterns and moldsUse a variety of hand tools in cutting, grinding, fitting, and assemblingAdhesive bonding applicationsAssembly of structures including setup, bonding, and fastener applicationsPerforming self-quality checksWhat you will bring to the TeamExperience range needed: 1 month to 1 year with composite materials (i.e. Carbon Fiber, Kevlar, & Fiberglass)Prior experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentHigh School Diploma or equivalentAbility to read, interpret, and suggest improvements from work instructions (SOPs)Measurement competencies-Calipers, Micrometers, Tape measure, Indicators, etc.Demonstrate hands-on fabrication skillsExperience using a variety of hand tools in cutting, grinding, fitting, and assemblingExperience with adhesive bonding applicationsExperience with assembly of structures including setup, bonding, and fastener applicationsAttention to detail and accuracy while working with tight tolerancesThe BIG payoffWe are a company who is going to make a difference in the industries and the communities in which we choose to operate.Every employee of Re:Build will share ownership in the company and will share in the financial rewards of the success we achieve together, at all levels of the company!We want to work with people that reflect the communities in which we operateRe:Build Manufacturing is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
