Job Description:
Paccar is seeking a talented and experienced Communications Specialist to join our dynamic team on a part-time basis. As a remote worker based in Chicago, Illinois, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering the company's internal and external communication strategies.
Responsibilities:- Develop and execute communication plans to support key company initiatives and projects- Write and edit content for various communication channels including newsletters, press releases, website, and social media platforms- Coordinate with key stakeholders to gather information and ensure messaging alignment- Monitor and analyze communication metrics to assess effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement- Maintain brand consistency and uphold company values in all communication materials- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful communication campaigns- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to continuously improve communication strategies
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a communications role- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines- Innovative mindset with a track record of developing creative communication solutions- Adaptable and resilient in fast-paced environments- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and communication tools- Experience with digital marketing and social media platforms is a plus
