**Position Overview:**
We are looking for a skilled Project Engineer with experience in commercial construction to support our project management team. The Project Engineer will be responsible for assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist the project management team in all aspects of project planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Review project plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance with client requirements and industry standards.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain necessary permits, approvals, and materials.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, identify issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Assist in the resolution of project-related issues and conflicts, collaborating with the project management team and stakeholders as needed.
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on project status, address concerns, and answer any questions.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in commercial construction project engineering.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and materials.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
**Salary Range:**
The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $80,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
