SIH is looking for a team player who is passionate about patient care and is personable.This opportunity gives you the ability to work closely with a team of trained physicians who put patient care first.Our position is both inpatient and outpatient, a split between General and Colorectal Surgery, and will also be responsible for assisting the team in completing colonoscopies.

Responsibilities
• Work closely with a team of trained physicians to provide patient care• Assist the team in completing colonoscopies• Perform general and colorectal surgeries• Divide general surgery call schedule evenly among the team• Follow a block schedule for surgery• Use ANO Scopes and mechanical beds
Requirements
• Completion of an ACGME accredited Residency training program in Surgery-General• Completion of an ACGME accredited Fellowship training program in Colon and Rectal Surgery or Proctology• Current certification in Colon and Rectal Surgery by the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery• Current certification in Proctology by the American Osteopathic Board of Proctology or its equivalent• Board certification must be achieved within five years of being admissible to take the exam
