Collections Specialist

We are seeking a diligent, proactive Collections Specialist to join our dynamic team in Plainview, NY. This role is pivotal in maintaining the financial health and reputation of our company by efficiently managing overdue accounts and ensuring timely payments.
Role Responsibilities: Manage and collect overdue accounts while maintaining a high level of customer Negotiate payment plans with tenants in arrears, ensuring agreements are adhered to Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection and payment Collaborate with legal counsel on collection issues when Generate and provide reports on collection activities and account statuses to Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or related At least 2 years of proven experience in collections, accounts receivable, or Strong understanding of billing and collections Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with an emphasis on customer Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collections Bilingual is a PLUS Able to work in a team environment We Offer: Competitive salary and benefits A supportive, collaborative work Opportunities for professional growth and Eagle Rock Management is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
