About the Role
The Company is seeking a General Manager & CEO to lead the organization in creating and implementing a dynamic vision. This executive will also hold the role of Secretary of the Nebraska Educational Telecommunications Commission. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strong leadership to enhance public broadcasting programs and educational offerings, with a focus on multi-platform journalism, contemporary public television/radio structures, and emerging media trends. A minimum of 10 years in senior leadership, a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (Master's preferred), and a proven track record in public representation, fundraising, and programmatic innovation are essential. The role demands a politically astute individual capable of uniting diverse constituencies, with a compelling vision for the future of public media and a commitment to integrity.Applicants must demonstrate the ability to lead strategic planning, financial management, and inspire staff to contribute to institutional goals.
