Chief Electrical Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chief Engineer to run our NM facility. The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in electrical design and engineering and experience in solar, automation, energy storage, controls, and project management. Additionally, experience in datacenter, construction, Ignition, Python, Java, Studio 5000, and C++ is highly desirable.
This position will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of innovative engineering systems. This includes leading the team to generate designs, develop and test products, and ensure all engineering projects are completed on time and on budget.
The Chief Engineer will also be responsible for developing and managing relationships with vendors and partners to ensure the smooth delivery of projects. To ensure the highest quality results, the position requires regular communication and collaboration with other departments and stakeholders. The Head of Engineering will also be responsible for personnel management, budgeting, and planning.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field At least 5 years of experience in electrical design and engineering Strong background in solar, automation, energy storage, controls, and project management Experience in datacenter, construction, Ignition, Python, Java, Studio 5000, and C++ Ability to lead and manage a team A strong commitment to quality and customer service Must be able to live in New Mexico and work hybrid - we provide relo-assistance & housing!  Benefits - Salary up to 200k D.O.E
