Primary Objectives Conduct electrochemistry experiments and utilize surface spectroscopy techniques to standardize electropolishing methods. Analyze metal content in electropolishing acid through titration and specific gravity measurements. Prepare samples for third party analysis Prepare detailed data reports based on results delivered by third-party analysis, ensuring accuracy and thorough documentation of findings for formal reporting. Secondary Objectives: Evaluate the impact of new additives on process and product consistency, focusing on cost, quality, and delivery metrics. Asses the effects of alternative rinse acid treatments on surface chemistry and appearance, prioritizing safety and environmental considerations. Investigate and propose process control measures to enhance throughput and quality in electropolishing, emphasizing improvements in quality and delivery times.
