Job Description:
General Mills is seeking a dedicated and energetic Chat Support Representative to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. As a Chat Support Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support through various digital communication channels. This role requires strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a customer-focused mindset.
Responsibilities:1. Respond to customer inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner through chat platforms.2. Provide product information, troubleshooting assistance, and technical support to customers.3. Assist customers with placing orders, processing returns, and resolving billing issues.4. Escalate complex problems to the appropriate department or supervisor for resolution.5. Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions and transactions.6. Collaborate with other team members to improve processes and enhance the customer experience.7. Stay current on company products, services, and policies to provide accurate information to customers.8. Meet and exceed key performance indicators, such as response time and customer satisfaction metrics.
Requirements:1. Minimum of 4 years of experience in customer service or a related field.2. Energetic and driven personality with a positive attitude.3. Strong time management and organization skills.4. Ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts with customers effectively.5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.6. Proficient in using chat support software and other digital communication tools.7. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.8. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; relevant certifications or training is a plus.
