Responsibilities
• Assist in general care and well-being of residents• Implement residents' personal care plans and administer medications• Report unusual symptoms and behaviors of residents to supervisor• Assist with grooming, hygiene, and vital signs• Maintain knowledge of resident's conditions and ensure safety• Serve meals and snacks, deliver food trays, and report maintenance repairs• Deal with complaints/requests professionally and adhere to health and safety rules
Requirements
• At least 21 years of age• High School diploma or GED• Experience in children's services or residential setting preferred• L1MA certification or Med Tech certification• Valid driver's license• Ability to read, write, and speak effectively• Basic math skills and problem-solving abilities• Physical ability to lift and move a minimum of 50 pounds• Ability to work in a residential facility and exercise self-control• Flexible and able to multitask without overwhelming frustration
