We are seeking a Framing & Drywall Foreman to join our Self-Perform t eam for construction projects located in the Camp Lejeune, NC area. The Framing & Drywall Foreman is responsible for the layout and construction of framing and drywall installations on large industrial projects. The foreman will oversee a crew of framing and drywall installers to ensure all work is completed within the scope of the project. This is all to be done using the appropriate equipment and implementing the required safety practices in support of RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: A high school diploma or GED is the preferred minimum formal education for this position. College/trade school courses in construction management preferred. Two or more years of work experience in a Framing/Drywall Foreman position (e.g. Scheduling, ordering, field supervision, safety, and production) over framing/drywall trades on medium or large projects. Five or more years of field trade work in construction (drywall preferred). Experience in the government, military, or large commercial construction experience preferred. Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet, etc.) preferred. Training can be provided. CPR, First Aid Certification required; OSHA 30-hour Certification and EM-385 preferred; Training can be provided. Spanish-English bilingual skills desirable.
