The following duties may be assigned in the plan of care:Daily routine care (feeding, grooming and bathing)Light shoppingLight housekeepingConversing with the client to provide assuranceMeal preparation and clean upReporting any incidents, complaints, and/or concerns to the agency immediatelyOther responsibilities as assigned Required Education/ ExperienceHigh School Diploma or G.E.D equivalent required.Minimum of 2 years of experience with seniors in a home setting preferredEnglish proficiency and excellent communication skillsAbility to work independently in the fieldAbility to work with different personality types in a professional mannerThree references requiredProof of clear TB/PPD test taken within the last yearMust be able to pass a background checkCNA, HHA, and BLS/CPR certifications a plusPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.The physical demands in this position vary per client.Physical demands may include but are not limited to:Transferring of clientStanding for long periods of timeLifting more than 10lbsSome clients will require activity that can described as medium to moderately heavy.
