Cardiology Technologist

The Cardiology Technician is responsible for performing all cardiac diagnostic procedures, primarily: EKG and EKG MUSE Medical entry and records. Cardiology technicians may also be responsible for EEG, treadmill exercise tests, Holter monitoring and scanning, pacemaker analysis and telephonic arrhythmia monitoring.
Required: An EKG course completion within 30 days of hire is required
Current BLS Healthcare Provider
Knowledge of medical terminology
Preferred: Preferred graduate of a program for cardiovascular technology or certification from the National Board for Cardiovascular Technology. Completion of basic arrhythmia class preferred. EEG experience preferred. One year experience performing EKG's and treadmill exercise testing in an acute care hospital preferred
