Job Summary
Are you a Junior or Senior looking for Internship opportunities? Hive Group is a rapidly growing small business providing contract and program management services to our government clients. We are building a team of entry to mid-level Business Operations Interns for a project supporting a federal agency. Positions are part-time (anticipated 40-60 hours p/mo) performing a variety of business operations and contract monitoring activities. On the job training is available. Positions may transition to full time after graduation. Candidates must reside in a Hubzone.
Position Responsibilities
Reviewing and processing timesheets. Reconciliation of performance requirements and financial documents. Communicating with corporate and government stakeholders to ensure task completion. Assisting with project-management responsibilities related to contract closeout. Reviewing Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests and redacting material for Contracting Officer review. Researching tools and processes to enhance operational efficiency. Assisting with a variety of office and operational tasks. Job Qualifications
Associate's degree or two years of college credits 0-2 years of related experience Must be able to pass agency background check Must reside in a Hubzone ( Skills & Key Attributes
Excellent verbal and written communication Proficient in MS Office suite (Word and Excel) or Google equivalents Organization skills Sense of urgency, high degree of personal motivation for success Strong attention to detail Positive attitude – demonstrating an ultimate desire to fulfill organizational objectives by complete customer satisfaction.
