Corporate Group Strategy and Support is dedicated to extending the Corporate Group's (CG) ability to deliver innovative, value-added solutions that help advance the Bank's mission and strengthen its operation. As the Group's centralized, internal business development partner, CGSS focusses on three service areas, Business Support; Business Technology & Data Management and Risk Management, allowing CG's other functions to align their operations and concentrate on their core competencies.
The Business Support Department of CGSS serves as Corporate's administrative arm, overseeing a range of operational responsibilities and the strategic planning process for the Group and its business areas. The team guides and integrates each CG Functions' strategy with the Group's as a whole and monitors progress against overall stated objectives. Its principal services include:
Business Strategy & Analytics: Performs deep dive analytics and process mapping to drive continual improvement and efficiency in the Group's service delivery. Portfolio Management: Oversees the progress of key Group initiatives and projects that have both a Bank-wide impact as well as affect CG's internal operations. Communications: Acts as the centralized hub creating and distributing the Group's communication material across Functions and Bankwide. Sets the strategy on brand identity, message development and outreach to Bank audiences to bring greater clarity, visibility and transparency to the Group's strategy and services.
Your role as Business Operations Associate:
As the Business Operations Associate, you will be responsible for executing several complex, critical, analytical and administrative activities and may act as project leader in support of Corporate Group's business operations. You will play a key role in managing the day-to-day requests that come to CGSS in our internal request ticketing system which includes but is not limited to: on-boarding, off-boarding, active directory requests, hardware/peripheral requests, and physical security access. Developing and managing direct relationships with the members across Corporate Group will be critical to the success of the position.
Supports the assignment and categorization of requests under appropriate categories to ensure timely response times. Directly responsible for fulfilling all requests assigned and ensure accurate and timely communication to the requestor for a client-centric approach and positive experience. Coordinates with business units, business technology analysts, National IT, and the Technology Group to resolve issues. Supports with managing the lifecycle of employees and contingent workers including on-boarding/off-boarding tasks and new hire orientations. Liaise with business functions and administrative assistant team to assist and directly oversee periodic reviews of application access along with re-certification of applications as well as directory groups, assets, and other systems.
What we are looking for:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (i.e. recognizing and analyzing business problems, proposing and implementing innovative solutions, making sound judgments and acting effectively with change and uncertainty). Proven success as both a team player, with the ability to effectively collaborate with staff and management across the Group, the Bank, and the system. Ability to analyze and respond appropriately to sensitive customer matters, reach sound conclusions considering varying stakeholder interests, and respond in timely ways under pressure. Demonstrated ability to effectively execute multiple deliverables and drive and deliver results despite competing priorities. Customer centric with a high aptitude to anticipate business issues and effectively partner with CG businesses, Technology Group, and Central Business Administration Functions. Strong Microsoft Excel and SharePoint experience desirable. Knowledge of the Federal Reserve System and FRBNY's organization and business area a plus. Salary Range: $85000 - $95000 / year
