Job title: Business Development Specialist- Professional Services
Our client is seeking a Business Development Specialist to partner with them on strategic growth of their practice.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in and a passion for sales, networking, marketing, event planning, and client relationship management within a professional services company. If you are energized by people and enjoy traveling domestically and internationally to develop client relationships this could be the role for you.
What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like:
* Network with the local community to promote the client and build connections for its services.
* Tap into business development opportunities proactively and ongoing.
* Partner with the client to lead strategic planning for upcoming events.
* Identify potential client partnerships through attendance of conferences and events domestically and internationally.
* Contact and foster leads after events and shows and and maintain relationships with existing clients.
* Manage the CRM process via implementation of software and tools, client relationship, and process improvement.
Your Skills and Qualifications:
* Exude a passion for providing exceptional client service and proven experience within sales or business development management.
* Proven track record in sales, business development, or client relationship management.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build trust and rapport within professional relationships and work collaboratively to achieve results.
* Keen attention to detail, and ability to organize multiple projects simultaneously.
* Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for delivering exceptional client service.
* Travel at least 50% within the role globally for conferences and events as needed.
* Previous experience in the legal industry or a law degree is highly advantageous.
* Degree in Law, Business, or related field (preferred).
