We are looking for a Business Development Director (BDD) with a successful track record, and who is thrilled by the hunt and lives for the chase. The ideal candidate is an Agency BD pro who is a natural relationship builder with an established network. They love what they do and can't help but prospect and bring in new business. This role is responsible for leading cross-disciplined teams through successful pitch and proposal processes that win new business with new and existing clients. The BDD will help grow existing accounts as well as bring in net new brands and revenue with a clear and constant focus to win business for POP.  What You'll Do  Meet or exceed annual revenue growth goals as defined by the Agency Leadership Team (ALT) through outbound/inbound and growth from existing accounts. Successfully identify and close qualified leads within targeted accounts and verticals; 40% of effort will be focused on growing existing accounts, and 60% on securing new opportunities through RFP responses, qualifying in bound leads, relationship building and outreach.  Leverage your established network in service of our vision, agency growth goals and cutting-edge client solutions. Lead cross-discipline teams through successful proposal and pitch processes, responding to RFIs, RFPs, Client briefs or asks. Define strategic imperatives and win-themes. Manage the entire process, from lead to win. Maximize our ability to retain and grow revenue with existing POP clients by seeking new revenue streams, defining strategic imperatives, casting and inspiring teams. Keeping the team motivated through the pitch or proposal process, to "pitch-perfect" delivery and partnering with Client Services to grow accounts. What We're Looking For 8+ years of successful BD experience with a digital focus in the advertising or agency world. Track record of winning work from new clients and growing relationships. Optimistic and resilient: You dig in and figure out how to work around challenges. Strong knowledge and experience in marketing and advertising with emphasis on digital marketing, strategy, analytics, technology, and emerging trends. Bachelor's degree with a business or marketing focus preferred; agency experience a must.  Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation. Great storyteller. Must be fluent in Keynote and PowerPoint. Ability to inspire and drive a diverse group of people to deliver world-class thinking, solutioning with high polish on tight deadlines Strong functional knowledge in the areas of Marketing, Digital Strategy, UX/CX, Digital Marketing and Experience Technology. POP offers competitive compensation and full benefits. The starting salary for this role is between $110-$140K plus commission. Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry and are one part of the Total Rewards we provide. Individual pay rate decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company. The range above is for the expectations as laid out in the job description and located in Seattle. As a company, we have a location-based strategy, which means the salary range could be lower or higher than this if the role is hired in another location.
