Building Maintenance Technician IMMEDIATELY HIRING $7,000 hiring bonus Our casino, hotel and racetrack has an immediate opening for a dedicated Building Maintenance Technician. We operate a five-story hotel, a busy casino, and a 24 hour kitchen. The buildings contain 116 guest rooms, pool, spa, fitness room, banquet room, 80+ table games, and several common areas that require constant support and maintenance.
The successful candidate will be responsible for plumbing, electrical, access control and HVAC maintenance as well as any other duties assigned by the Facilities Manager.
We're looking for someone who can take the initiative and help anticipate problems before they occur. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate effectively with tenants, visitors and anyone else he or she encounters on the job. This facility is open 24 hours 7 days a week.
This position offers competitive pay with shift differential and benefits: 401(k), Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, and PTO. Job Requirements: High School Diploma or GED. Must have valid, clean driving record and ability to adhere to use of Company Vehicle policy/procedures. Excellent customer service skills; ability to successfully interact with others. A good knowledge of building skills including HVAC, plumbing, drywall installation, painting, and general building repair.
