We are looking for a legendary Brand Marketing Manager for Apex Legends who will lead launch and live services marketing strategies for Apex Legends. Reporting to the Director of Brand at Respawn, you will guide live services marketing projects for games for Apex Legends. You have expertise in product marketing, live services marketing, digital marketing, and brand strategy. You must excel at marrying science and creativity to delight customers and partners, working with teams to build brands. You will thrive in a creative environment and enjoys working collaboratively.
Responsibilities Develop live service brand and business goals. Collaborating with game teams and marketing teams to architect experiences built around in-game events, grounded in consumer insights and player data, that grow ongoing engagement with the franchise. Envision and establish data-informed business objectives that are used to define and achieve player and performance targets for the franchise. Work with teams in publishing, creative services, channel marketing, and sales to deliver product branding, positioning, and audience insights. Analyzing performance data, including sales and in-game data, to identify opportunities and challenges, then create strategies and tactics to achieve results. Manage relationships with company partners across studios, publishing and other teams ensuring alignment and accountability. Partner with Consumer Insights team throughout the year to test merchandising, messaging, game features (and concepts), and improve player experiences based on those findings. Conducting ongoing product and competitive marketing analysis to ensure consumer and market trends are informing brand strategies. Spearhead innovation and creative thought within the live-service marketing space. Skills/Competencies Deep experience in brand management and/or product marketing Solid business, analytical and critical thinking skills Project management and coordination across functional groups and external partners. Strong understanding of consumer live service Strong communicator and collaborator Experience taking a product or service from consumer insight, to ideation, to market. Prior work with first party stores, and gaming industry data sources a plus Embraces working in a dynamic, flexible, ever-changing environment. Experience building go-to-market strategies and executing tactical plans.  Qualifications: BA/BS degree MBA preferred. Minimum 4 years working in marketing roles at top tier companies or consumer brands. Excellent Microsoft Office skills and advanced proficiency in PowerPoint Passion for games is a must.
US COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.
EA has listed the base salary ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.
BASE SALARY RANGES
• California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):
º $103,200 - $145,600 USD Annually
Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
