Get promoted to Semi-Trucks for a pay increase. General Responsibilities: The driver's main objective is Safe, Prompt, & Accurate Delivery. Safely drive and perform safety inspections on company vehicles; follow all DOT laws and regulations. Keep pace and work in all weather conditions; lift packages (up to 75 lbs.); use pallet jack and rachet straps, get in and out of box truck repeatedly throughout the day at variable locations. Learn and safely use truck lift gate. Communicate effectively with the support team and leadership to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completed. Use smartphone devices for GPS Navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and communicating with supervisors and other team members. Receive bonuses for excellent performance and safe driving. Receive personal cell phone use pay. Required: Must have held a state driver's license for at least 2 years. Must have or be able to obtain a DOT medical card. Authorized to work in the United States. Must know how to use a Smartphone. (multiple apps used to perform day-to-day responsibilities) Preferred: Previous delivery experience. (i.e., Postmates, DoorDash, Flex, etc.) Previous transportation experience (i.e., Uber, Lyft, etc.). Bilingual.
