Job summary
Looking for a Body Shop Service Technician to join our growing team!Strong service technician background and ASE certified required.Perform specific repair orders and diagnose necessary repairs.
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers if additional service is needed and provide time estimate for additional repairs.• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
Requirements
• 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred.• High school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification required.• B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair.• Dexterity, excellent hand-eye coordination, mechanical and troubleshooting skills.• Basic computer competencies and excellent customer service skills.• Positive attitude and eagerness to improve.• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and collaborate effectively.• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures/specifications.• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
