Responsibilities
• Conduct fisheries, wildlife, and/or habitat management projects• Collect, analyze, and interpret data• Develop and implement project proposals and work plans• Prepare recommendations• Participate in public relations activities• Coordinate and implement surveys for non-game wildlife in the northwestern region• Compile and summarize data into annual reports• Provide reviews of resource management documents• Assist with coordination of endangered species management and recovery actions• Assist with detailed data analysis, population monitoring, and goal implementation
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in biology, wildlife management, or related field• One year of professional wildlife management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience• Experience conducting research studies, developing project proposals, and analyzing data• Experience with NEPA reviews, working with partners on development projects, and technical writing• Experience with qualitative analysis• Ability to work under adverse weather conditions and in remote locations• Statewide travel and outdoor work required• Valid driver's license
