Education Requirements: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.
Clearance Requirements: Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. As Aviation Mission Planning Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Tactical Airspace Integration System (TAIS) Integrated Mission Planning and Airspace Control Tools (IMPACT) program, you'll be a member of the business team responsible for helping develop the roadmaps and objectives for the future of Army Aviation Mission Planning. In this role, you will be able to bring the user point of view to an outstanding development staff leading to a more efficient capability for our warfighter.

What sets you apart: Support the Mission Planning team in ensuring safety and freedom of flight for our Army Aviation soldiers. You be part of a small team of engineers to create a modern, integrated Army Mission Planning tool that will be used by our Army rotary wing pilots. As a key member of the business team, you will meet regularly with our systems, test, and user experience (Ux) teams to ensure we are designing in the capabilities that are needed by these pilots. As a key interface to the Ux team you will meet regularly with the end users to ensure we are providing the capabilities they need.
