Bach To Rock("B2R") America's Music School for students of all ages is currently seeking an Audio Engineer and Production Teacher to work as a part-time employee. This position has the primary responsibility for the recording studio and production of bands, parties, and events.B2R provides students of all ages with an inspiring and well-balanced music education. Students perform often and record in our studio while also learning music theory and proper technique from our professional teachers.Position Responsibilities:Record clients which can consist of solo artists or ensemblesTeach digital technology ProTools and music sequencingProperly store all equipment - microphones, cables, DI boxes, etc.Properly manage all audio recordings and hard drivesCreate an encouraging, fun, and focused lesson atmosphereCoordinate the setup and breakdown and recording of birthday partiesCoordinate the setup and breakdown of live events and concertsAssist at school eventsMay repair equipment as needed and able.May also teach bands and camps using the B2R curriculumMay also compose or arrange as skills allowRequirements:Advanced knowledge and understanding of Pro ToolsProficiency in at least one musical instrumentAdvanced knowledge of music conceptsMust demonstrate the ability to run sound equipmentMust have experience with producing musicAbility to understand microphone placement and function.Ability to communicate effectively with clientsEffective time management and organizational skills to manage a productive and timely recording sessionAbility to work effectively with B2R staff and managementAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAdaptable to changes in the workplaceExperience working with youth and/or beginning musiciansAbility to interact effectively with children and adultsAbility to pass a background checkBach to Rock offers the opportunity to work a flexible part time schedule in a fun environment with other like-minded musicians.
