The Associate Sales Operations Representative supports the Key Account Manager with all aspects of sales and operational support of 2 large regional retailers- one with 175 stores and 11 distribution centers in 15 states and other with 360 stores and 2 distribution centers in 5 states. This role entails heavy focus on inventory and purchase order supply chain management, accounting and freight shipping reconciliation, and report preparation and analysis. USA, Austin, TX How You'll Create Possibilities
Direct responsibilities include:
Facilitate collaboration with major regional retailers to coordinate delivery logistics for 13 distribution centers, supported by 5 GEA distribution centers. Manage the flow of high-volume major appliances and room air conditioners. Oversee logistics coordination within the retailers' platform and manage purchase order processes through the electronic data interchange (EDI) portal.
Perform inventory projections, order inventory, input PO requests, analyze inventory turns, record appropriate inventory needs. Manage/order full portfolio of universal install parts for all brands. Coordinate with merch team on all inventory needs.
Lead all supply chain over/short inquiries, needed credits/adjustments, delivery quality issues, freight carrier communications, etc.
Assist Key Account Manager with preparation of reports, forecasting, merchandising, and training materials for both regional retailers and GEA internal field sales team.
Ensure accuracy of inventory & cost of goods.
Calculate and record monthly rebate accruals.
Work with Key Account Manager on other projects as requested.
What You'll Bring to Our Team
Minimum Qualifications
Degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in related field.
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Preferred Qualifications/Characteristics
Supply Chain and/or distribution experience: including Sales Operations, Data Analytics
Limited proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
Experience collaborating with support teams.
Working Conditions:
Role is remote home-based, customary daytime M-F business hours.
Occasional off-site meetings with Key Account Manager, customer personnel, and/or sales region teams.
