Overview:The Associate Project Manager leads smaller projects under the direction of a Senior Project Manager or a Department Manager. The Associate Project Manager will support Senior Project Managers and Project Managers in meeting the overall project scope, schedule, budget, and issue/risk management.

Day to Day:

Manage small sized projects independently or assist Project Manager or Senior Project Manager on large or complex projectsAdhere to the project management discipline and standards in accordance with the Prime Project Lifecycle methodologyManage projects through the entire lifecycle: Initiation, Planning, Execution and Closure (depending on project size and scope)Administer internal or external client facing activities with cross functional teams, ensuring all business objectives are successfully deliveredPrepare and maintain Project Management (PM) -related project artifacts (i.e. project plans, issue/risk logs, project financials, status reports, meeting materials, and change log)Promote a common understanding of project timelines, milestones, critical path and reporting in order to align project leaders, stakeholders and team membersSupport PM Practice development and continuous improvement efforts as needed
