Role Overview:
As our Associate Manager, Compliance & Privacy Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Integration, you'll play a pivotal role in integrating acquired entities into our Compliance & Privacy programs. Your responsibilities will revolve around fostering an ethical culture and ensuring that business practices align with our company values.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Develop strong relationships throughout your area of responsibility to foster an advisory or collaborative approach to proactive compliance and privacy.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables, and meticulously plan, track, and report on timelines and milestones of global Compliance & Privacy M&A integration projects.
- Work closely with global M&A integration teams and external advisors to execute Compliance & Privacy M&A integrations within strict deadlines, maintaining quality standards and budget adherence.
- Collaborate with division and regional teams on training, high-risk interaction identification, remediation activities, and other local requirements.
- Partner with stakeholders to develop and maintain global processes and tools for integrating acquired businesses into our Compliance & Privacy program.
- Make recommendations to leadership regarding policy, procedure, system, and process development or revision.
- Analyze processes, track best practices, and provide recommendations to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of global Compliance & Privacy M&A integration projects.
- Develop and present relevant metrics for internal and external audiences to track the progress and status of M&A integration projects.
- Represent the Compliance & Privacy department within the Business Development function, raising awareness of the compliance & privacy program and promoting accountability for ethics and integrity.
- Stay informed about current and emerging laws and regulations, periodically reviewing and updating standards relating to compliance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- 6+ years of work experience.
- Project management experience.
- Experience in highly regulated industries such as medical devices, finance, or pharmaceuticals is highly preferred.
- Experience in Healthcare Compliance, Internal Audit, Risk Management, Regulatory/Quality, or Operations is preferred.
Compensation:
- Salary range: $85,500 - $199,000, plus bonus eligibility and benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
