Your Impact Deliver Haven's Standard of Excellence by setting direction with Shift Leads, Trainers and Team Members to deliver quality food and great guest experiences across all areas of the restaurant.  Live HHC mission and values to ensure the culture outlined is seen, heard and felt.  Support the General Manager with team development by hosting the training of new hires in varying roles for their home store and new store openings.   Role model and coach Team Members, Trainers and Shift Leads to uphold Haven Standards of Excellence, policies outlined in the HHC Team Member Handbook. Be connected to Shift Leads, Trainers and Team Members by maintaining open communication channels, recognizing positive performance, and supporting them through both exemplary and challenging times.   Support the General Manager to increase profitability through resource management and implementing procedures to promote sales growth, reduce costs, and increase productivity.  Maintaining a work environment that ensures inclusivity and promotes team safety. Supports the General Manage by executing action plans to close gaps on established goals or the need to implement company initiatives or changes.  Ensures all Haven food safety standards and cleanliness standards both inside and outside of the restaurant.  Other duties as assigned by their direct manager. Must be able to stand for long periods of time up to 8 hours.  Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and on occasion up to 50 pounds.  Responsibilities Staffing & Scheduling - Working in conjunction with the GM Staff Management Lead a crew of up to 8 Team Members and Trainers Ensures breaks are taken by all staff members on scheduled shifts Rewards, recognition and appreciation Reporting staff issues to GM and/or leadership team Schedule Management Update and publish schedules on a weekly basis  Audit time clock entry management Teaching & Training Team member and Shift Lead training Coach and redirect Team Members as needed to uphold Haven's Standards of Excellence and Mission and Values Sales & Inventory Daily sales tracking Place orders using a par system for perishable and nonperishable goods for the store.  Oversee and audit food prep par management and inventory levels alongside the management team Operations & Continuous Improvement Floor management during scheduled shifts as Manager on Duty Role modeling and ensuring exceptional guest experience Cash management Track completion of opening and closing checklist Ad hoc & routine full team communications (pre-shift and shift hand off meetings) Audit restaurant processes to ensure standards of work of met Assist store readiness for key inspections Tasks as assigned by the General Manager or Senior Leadership team Day In The Life Monday- Sunday availability | 45-55 hours/week | Assistant General Managers ideally have two days off per week. Anticipated schedule: closing 1-2 nights per week (2pm to 10:30 pm). Weekly Store Leadership Team Meetings. Time Expectations: During the training period (6 Weeks) you will accelerate through all roles within the restaurant before progressing to the different responsibilities of the Assistant General Manager. As you see how all of these pieces fit together, you will learn how to think and what to look for when it comes to running all aspects of the operation. The Assistant General Manager role is a growth position with opportunities to develop into the role of General Manager.
