Fauquier County Commonwealth Attorney's Office is seeking a professional to join our team. New employees are paired with a mentor; every attorney is assigned a legal assistant; and office members utilize up-to-date case and records management systems for tracking and prosecuting cases.
Our office budget includes funding for state and national training for attorneys, paid professional memberships, customized laptops, iPhones, and use of a county vehicle for official business.
We offer flexibility in office schedules to help employees balance personal obligations, and we enjoy monthly socials celebrating staff birthdays, holidays, and special events. Located in Old Town Warrenton, our office is a short walk to Main Street shops, restaurants, bakeries, art galleries, the post office, and library.
We have a county-wide wellness program with private access to healthcare at the nearby Fauquier County Employee Wellness Center. All Fauquier County Government permanent employees, regardless of insurance coverage, are eligible to use the center, as well as spouses and dependents (age 6+) on the Fauquier employee health plan. The center provides free services for prevention, sickness, and behavioral health. Employees do not need to use sick leave for visits to the Wellness Center. All employees have free access to virtual fitness classes through a local gym.
