We are currently seeking an Asphalt Plant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our construction materials production plant in Fort Smith & NWA. Your Role: Enhancing Plant Operations As an Asphalt Plant Manager at Emery Sapp & Sons, you will provide oversight and guidance to plant personnel, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Your leadership will drive innovation and continuous improvement in plant operations, contributing to the success of our projects. Responsibilities: Team Management: Provide oversight and guidance to plant personnel, including operators, technicians, and maintenance staff. Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements in all plant operations. Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze plant performance, including production, quality, and cost, implementing strategies for improvement as needed. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with customers, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure the success of the plant. Risk Management: Manage plant risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions to operations. Innovation: Drive innovation and continuous improvement in plant operations and management practices. Leadership: Provide leadership and mentorship to plant teams, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability. Other Duties: Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned to support the successful operation of the plant. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in construction materials production or a related industry, including 2+ years of management experience. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities. Knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards.
