Are you passionate about aviation and skilled in the art of logistics? We're seeking an Aircraft Parts & Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic team in Dallas, TX. As a vital part of our operations, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient aircraft maintenance processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with maintenance and flight school teams to facilitate seamless procurement of aircraft parts and materials.
Manage the end-to-end process of ordering, receiving, inspecting, and checking in parts to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Uphold strict adherence to FAA requirements, particularly in regards to Suspected Unapproved Parts (SUPS).
Maintain meticulous records of inventory, invoices, contracts, and warranty parts.
Oversee the shipping and receiving of materials, ensuring timely deliveries to support operational needs.
Implement strategies to optimize inventory accuracy and efficiency, including conducting regular audits and implementing best practices.
Safely operate equipment such as forklifts to manage inventory and facilitate logistics.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse/inventory management or administrative roles.
Preferably with prior experience in aviation maintenance or parts procurement.
Forklift experience and certifications are advantageous.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with hazardous material handling regulations is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with aircraft models such as Embraer Phenom 300 or Bombardier CL350/3500.
Certifications in hazardous material handling and OSHA standards are desirable.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $ 65,000.00 Per Year
